to reveal and enlighten some of the most iconic,
forgotten and disguised details of the ancient city of Évora.







Bernardo Bagulho trained  Design at Colégio dos Leões, University of Évora and Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto. Illustration at the EINA Autonomous University of Barcelona.

Since his student years he has illustrated for diverse national and international publications, newspapers and cultural projects. Also works in several mediums such as corporate identity, editorial design, packaging, sculpture, animation or public installation.  
His affinity with the region and imaginary of  Alentejo is undeniable.

His most notable projects are for local cultural activities like Pedras Rolantes, in public art, or Évora International Puppet Biennial, in illustration and public scenography.

Among his various collaborations, the magazine La Maleta de Portnou, Stolen Books, Sem Termo Filmes, Cendrev - Teatro Garcia de Resende, Instituto Camões, Arizona State University and the The New York Times Book Review, among others.
